3. Our contract

When you place an order with us, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we dispatch that product to you. You are seeking to enter into a contract with Company No. 5940767 when you place an order.

4. Customs

When ordering goods from corsetcurves.com or corsetheaven.com for delivery overseas the recipient may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination.

When you visit corsetcurves.com or corsetheaven.com or send emails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. We communicate with you by email or by posting notices on the website. We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.

11. Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and security. We will ensure that any information we obtain and use will always be held, used and transferred in compliance with all applicable data protection rules. We will not pass on your details to anyone else without asking you first. You may opt out of the various uses of your personal information at any time, even if you have previously given your consent for us to use them.

12.Cookies

Corsetcurves.com and corsetheaven.com use cookies as part of the mechanism to hold the contents of the shopping basket during each visit that you make to the site, and as such we require both permanent and session cookies to be enabled.

13. Accounts and Passwords

Your account contains your delivery and billing details, email preferences and a record of your orders. You will need your email address and password to see or edit your personal details. Please note that we do not store your credit card details online.

14. Opting in / out

Corsetcurves.com and corsetheaven.com may offer visitors opportunities to receive ad hoc emails, vouchers, regular emails and catalogues. Some of these are opt-in, others are opt-out. Each opportunity will explicitly state whether it is opt-in or opt-out.

15. Making A Purchase

All of our corsets are made to order. Please allow 14-21 days unless otherwise stated, for corsets to be made and dispatched, either made to measure or standard size. If you require your garment earlier than this, please email or telephone with you requirements and we will try to help.

We accept payment by all major credit and debit cards, personal cheques, postal orders, bankers drafts and wire transfers.

16. Returns
As stated above in (15) all of our corsets are made to each customer's individual order. Consequently, and also as a result of the personal nature of the garment, this transaction is exempt from the provisions of the Distance Selling Regulations and cannot be returned. Should this cause you any concern please call us immediately on 0845 634 2948 and we would be happy to put your mind at rest. Although under no obligation to do so, we will accept order cancellations provided that notification is received by us within 48 hours of this email being dispatched.

This does not affect statutory rights. All of our corsets are hand made and checked before dispatch to ensure the highest quality finish on every item, but if you feel that it is faulty then we are happy to exchange it.

We will accept returns on faulty corsets within 7 days of receipt. Returns are only accepted on corsets in near-mint condition, ie. only worn over a thin garment to check that it is the correct sizing. Items must be returned in there original packaging.
